DISCUSSION:

 

Distress can show itself in physical disorders, diseases, disempowering emotions, and self-defeating actions we learn to use to relieve tension and pressure.

 

Empowering solutions include practising awareness of physical and emotional states, and self-defeating habit patterns, relaxation activities (rest breaks, music, exercise, deep breathing, games), correct eating, practising balanced self-talk, and committing to a plan.
